U.S. History II - Blog reflection - Overall, was Nixon a positive or a negative for America? Give at least 3 reasons why you take the side that you do.

At first without the watergate scandel and such maybe i would sorta go along the lines that Nixon was a positive affect minus the spying on people and overall just being creepy. But since all of that did happen im going to say he was a negative affect on america.why?

1. He was the one who gave hope to america that we could have another leader like JFK but after the watergate scandel he just dropped out letting go of that last piece of hope americans had
2. He basicaly put this image on the american government which leads to the hatred of todays president's
3. Nixon always seemed to want to be the center of attetion and would do anything to convince americans that he was right or what he was doing was for a "good" cause. If you think about this Nixon's actions of lying and spying on other people running for president we possible could of had another leader like JFK one that americans wanted
